Housewarming and family ceremony catering in Bangalore

These are morning occasions with a fixed hour in the middle of them. The pooja finishes when it finishes, people are hungry by then, and the meal has to be ready without hurrying anyone. Elders are watching what comes out of the kitchen, and they will remember it.

The occasions we cater

  • Housewarming, or gruhapravesha
  • naming ceremonies
  • seemantham and baby showers
  • sixtieth-birthday celebrations
  • family lunches at a festival or after a ceremony

What suits a morning function

A breakfast griddle for people arriving early. A proper lunch with the dishes your family expects. A jalebi counter or a dessert studio for the end, which is usually where the children end up. If you want the meal to stay entirely traditional, it can. If you want one counter that surprises people, that works too.

Telling us what your family needs

RASA serves vegetarian food only. No meat is served at any RASA event. Many families have rules beyond that, and they matter more at a ceremony than anywhere else. Tell us what yours are when you enquire, and we will tell you plainly what we can do before you commit to anything.

Stations that suit it

Stations we design into proposals. What runs at your event is agreed with you.
